Actually, Arch, you should probably have written 'rumor' instead of 'rumour'. Both are good - one's British English, the other's American English, like defense and defence, or color and colour. However, since your sentence was largely American (no self respecting Brit would say 'truck'), you should probably stick with the American spelling.
