I've been watching it the rate fansubs are out since 10th episode.
It's one of best psychological anime series ever made... Only thing I don't like is the Opening theme of second season. I don't read manga of it coz I don't want to know how *spoiler[size=7]the main character dies[/color] spoiler*

If you like death note I suggess some other "dark" animes:
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (TV)
Pet Shop Of Horrors
Elfen Lied
"Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" Is honestly not for everyone. And yeah.. main character dies every 4th episode brutaly by his school mates (mostly to coverup some ritual or while being part of it). Beats best horror films.
Pet Shop Of Horrors is just about pet shop that sells wierd pets and you need to sign contract of the specimen. If contract is broken the pet probly end up killing the owner (like "don't feed anything but fresh meat and only once a week")
Elfen Lied contains nudity and extreme gore. It's about mutated humans that have ability to use wierd invicible long hands (multiple crawling from their back) wich can kill humans easyly. And no. the nudity is not atempt to pornographic direction.

I have all episodes of Elfen lied on my pc. One of the best anime's out there. They tell a fantastic story in only 13 epi's. I also like:
Fate/Stay Night (Very beautiful anime)
Code Geass: LeLouch Of The Rebellion (Gundam meets Death Note)
Tsubasa Chronicles (Big Awzzzzz to Sakura 'nd Syaoran)
Busuo Renkin (Bit of FMA mixed with creepy zombie thingies)
I will check out Pet Shop Of Horrors. Sounds like a nice anime to me. If the story is catchy I could easily watch 10 epi's a day. And I'm almost done with Full Metal Alchemist

Kaze no stigma
Naruto
Kenichi
Death Note
Bleach
and few others
If you find where to see hayate no goutoku (or some thing smilar) streamed through intarweb I wana know ^^

I've watched Naruto till 170 or so. To much fillers although the new shipuuden looks sweet to me. Bleach and Naruto are too long for me. Don't want to have a Anime that has like 100+ epi's xD (Again because of Fillers). The best ones I have seen are Death Note and Elfen Lied. Luv the intro of Elfen Lied (Lillium). |

lol, i prefer the death note manga than the anime and the same goes for bleach. I can't really stand the anime 
and Arch, guess who's played both fate/stay night games AND tsukihime!
Tsubasa chronicles was too lanky for me XD
The ones i like are:
FLCL
Cowboy Bebop
Escaflowne
*currently not in memory bank*
ps. Elfen lied's gore was awesome! AND higurashi mood swings ftw!

The Anime of Death Note rockz. I have the manga of Naruto and it's better then the Anime. No fillers =D *YaYz* Don't know about the manga of Death Note. Elfen Lied is the best anime I watched so far =D Think it's the best I will ever see...
