Wow, there are a lot of pirates out there.
And yes, whitebear, I think Mythbusters prooved that the shrapnel (whatever) is more lethal than the cannon itself. (In terms of more casualties.)
Alright, a little something on Ninjas: Ninja class in Golden Sun is PWNT!! Killer stat bonuses, but a spread out djinni formation. In other terms, Ninjas look cool, but really all they do is look cool.
Think about it: How functional were ninjas? I mean, compared to a Samurai, spending the time to train a ninja is very illogical in most situations.
Again I say most.
Thus I say, raising an army 50,000 pirates is more practical than an army of 1,000 ninjas.
But, we all know that Zerglings will pwn them both.
Arch, I'm surprised you play an assassin in Oblivion yet like pirates more.

Ilike to play an assassin in games. Sure sneaking around and striking from shadows is very fun. But in RL pirates just own.

Ninjas look cooler. Pirates look like they were just thrown out of bar.
Ninjas kill lot cooler ways. It would be lot cooler to be a ninja. I gess that means pirates are hot?

Priates have cool Pirate Ships. Ninja's have only "teh shadows". Do you really think a big fat kid wants to be a ninja? (No hiding abilities). Pirates use big cannons and cutlasses to kill. Ninja's use sissy shurikens and some sticks hold together by a chain to kill.
Pirates ftw.

that said fat kid could just get a modern gun and own everyone xD
but tbh i honestly like ninjas better.
I once saw a video on youtube. They had set a katana stood upright. And a gun set up infront of it, they shot the katana and in slow motion replayed the bullet hitting the katana and splitting right in half. The katana had hardly a scratch!

I like both... It really defines how you describe "cool". "Cool" as you want to be like them? "Cool" as having incredible achievments? I like Pirates because they can use a sword effectively. Sneaking around and killing is no fun for me. I like the giant-fight-for-honor sort of thing. A ninja's honor is not being found. Hell, that's boring. Stealth was never my thing. A pirate's honor is none existant. That's not my thing either. Therefore, Samurais pwn.

I loved hitman games so I love ninjas (I love movies and games where you can sneak and kill cold blooded.)
And if I did not get "silent assasin" rank when playing "hitman: silent assasin" I always restarted the mission (yes I am perfectionist when it comes to stuff like that.)
