I need to clean up the admin file once again due to an upgrade in the server (Went from the old SVN.7XX to the new SVN.9XX).
This means less bugs and stuff but mostly it will give less lag.
But it also means that all the admin ranks are gone.
So please visit the server to get a new rank.

Also I would like for admins who think they should either got a higher admin or an extra flag to post here.
I will, with the aproval of Glunnator, decide if this extra rank/flag should be given to that specific admin.

As a last note I want to give a tutorial on how to use admin rights.
This may seem a bit useless but it's more or less the same as I like to see on the servers.
So no !putteam to get in a team before the warm up time is over, no restarting when you seem to lose, no muting players who don't agree with you etc.
http://www.tremulous.info/downloads/adminrules.pdf

I'm running three servers a.t.m:

(Cebt)Milking Grounds
(Cebt)Arcade Server
(Cebt)Benmachine's Mod

With the exception of Benmachine's Mod all of these servers will follow the adminrules.pdf I included above. Benmachine's Mod is an exception because it's still a Beta server and I need to test and tweak it to get it to work perfectly.

I don't understand why !putteaming at the beginning is a problem, but I haven't done it since I was asked not to. (only did it once, actually)

Anyhow, go archy! Very Happy

Yeah, so? XD It's not such a huge privilege anyway. But I won't do it if you don't want me to.

Admins can join a team no matter what the current balance.

It shouldn't be that way when I get the admin files cleaned.

Namrorrim wrote:
Get rid of this please, force balance between teams, if an admin has GOOD reason to use !Putteam, then they can, but the fact that we end up with 5 (Cebt) members on aliens and 2 random people on humans isn't right.

The only thing what I don't want is that everyone uses !Putteam to put himself in a team creating again 5-2.. Otherwise I agree.

Namrorrim wrote:
Also this will cause using !Putteam to be abuse if it unbalances teams, witch I think is nice.

Don't really understand but if you mean that using !putteam by admins to make the game unbalanced is abuse then I agree.

Namrorrim wrote:
Also, Inactive members: If you miss a practice you go down an admin rank and someone gets to take your place unless you have good reason for it.

This seems a little bit harsh although I agree that really inactive members (talking about Romeo and Spudd a.t.m) don't need admin ranks because they are never visiting the server.

Namrorrim wrote:

I'll note how multiple times a dear fellow Cow has skipped practice because "I didn't feel like going"

I can understan if you miss practice once but repeatly not showing up without a reason should also be a form of inactivity.

THIS IS A CLAN PEOPLE! If your in the clan prove it, don't just let it sit there. Be at practice, during the week even if you don't like trem no need to come on, but Saturday night we're all supposed to be there, show yourself if only for 1 minute, if it's even just connecting and dissconnecting, show yourself, it isnt right that some people make an effort to be active, and all we get is lower admin levels. If your inactive you don't deserve it PERIOD.

I agree although my point of view is that admin ranks should be given to players who we think will use them right not only people who are active 24/7.

I think it's roughly the same way I think about it.

Aw, don't be harsh on poor Archy. I've made the same mistake before....the edit button is right next to the quote button! Easy to get mixed up.

I'm not sure I agree with the bit about inactive members. Now that the next semester has started, I'm probably going to be on a lot less, but it's not really my fault. In fact, I don't think I should lose my place in the clan even if I'm gone for two months. Because the important part is that I want to be with all youz cows, even if I can't.

I agree on the part that nobody should be kicked out but I do think he should get a lower admin for not showing up often.
