Gravity we actually don't know about how it actually works.
Weird.
If anyone does know anything about it, do tell! _________________ "Sometimes the only way to be truly angry is to be so happy, everyone within a 5 mile radius is creeped out." -Invertin

Funny you should say that....there are really only four forces, and gravity is one of them, whereas friction, and certainly momentum, are not. That said, you'll need to consider friction a force until you understand it better.
The four forces are: Gravity, Electromagnetism, the Weak Force and the Strong Force.
Also, sound is so not energy. It's just air vibrating. Light is energy because it holds electromagnetic force. _________________

Gahhh Eternal's brain is too large to be happy with.
Yes, indeed, you're absolutely right, Eternal. Again!
Anyone seen the films of 'Einstein's String Theory' and 'What the Bleep do We Know'?
Yes, Eternal, I know you probably have.
If you haven't, you're either a complete geek, or much, much older than we believe you to be. (you still haven't told us your age?) _________________ "Sometimes the only way to be truly angry is to be so happy, everyone within a 5 mile radius is creeped out." -Invertin

I haven't seen those! =o And now I'm confused. String theory did not come from Einstein..... _________________

I didn't mean a force formally, I just meant a physical phenomena. o_0;;

Anything you see around you is a physical phenomenon, Romeo. =) I think you need to work on your terminology.
<3 complex numbers. Need help with them? _________________

The only part about complex numbers I don't get (as of now) is how they can be logically and realistically represented on a graph with real numbers. >_> _________________ Currently rockin' out to the CAVESTORY REMIX PROJECT

Umm, why not? Since all complex numbers are just real numbers plus a multiple of i, why not make a graph with the real numbers on one axis and the multiple of i on the other? =| The graph won't describe anything realistic, it's just a handy way of looking at things.
I'm at school working on lab right now, so here's a random graph for joo! =D
The jpeg format sorta killed my colors, but no matter. Edited to make the pic smaller! =o _________________

Uh, you want me to translate the graph? You sure? o_O Hokay....
There's a well known experiment which shows the wave characteristics of light, dubbed the double slit experiment. If you shine a light on a wall with only two small slits in it, then look at the light that comes out of the slits, you'll see a strange pattern of light spots and dark spots. The reason for this pattern is that light is a wave, and the two waves emanating from the two slits interfere with each other.
If you look at any one color on my graph, that's what you're seeing. The higher up it goes, the brighter it is. So you can see that the result of the experiment is alternating bright and dim spots.
However, we had a problem - our sensor (called a photomultiplier) was picking up too much light at any given time. Instead of just picking up the tiny bit we needed, it was also picking up the light next to it. That's the reason the graphs don't hit zero near the middle (they're supposed to). When the sensor tried to measure the spots that were totally dark, it also took it a little bit of light from the nearby peaks, so it didn't go to zero.
The graph is supposed to show that when the sensor had a smaller opening, it would let in less light at a time, and therefore would be more exact. The green was the smallest, the red was the biggest.
