I have this assignment for English class, thought it'd be cool to post it here. It's kinda fun, I'd recommend everyone do it if they have a chance.
Tada. My life story.
Autobiography
After looking back and thinking about my life and significant memories I realize that many of them have something to do with some game I’ve played. Many would say that I wasted my life in front of a screen but I disagree. I love fantasy, and I have read some fantasy books (Harry Potter, Barimaeus, Artemis Fowl etc.), but I find that it’s not quite as interesting when the characters don’t do what you yourself would have. Same thing with movies and TV shows. I’ve written a few stories, but I find it a painstaking chore. That’s why I love games. I’ll be talking about them quite a bit.
One of the first things I remember was watching my dad while he was on the computer. I was maybe four or so. Dad was playing a game which my uncle gave him I believe. The game as Diablo, a nice and bloody and gory with death and killing and zombies with heads flying and goat-men being burnt alive. A great game to be playing in front of your four-year-old son. I think it was a pretty significant event in my life, as it showed me how cool a computer is. It was a lame little Windows ’98 that I played Minesweeper on from time to time. I had no idea how to play Minesweeper, and I’d always complain when I clicked on a mine. I’m sure it got on my parent’s nerves. Now that I think about it, I do remember playing my Sonic the Hedgehog game on it, along with my Catz and Dogz Virtual Pet games. Good times.
The next thing I remember was when I was 12, starting an online game called Runescape. Runescape is a pretty good game, considering that there’s no download required. Maybe a little crowded though. It’s your basic Role Playing Game (RPG), kill goblins, get stronger, kill more goblins. There were more advanced things such as Agility and Rune Crafting but I wasn’t smart enough to mess with those at the time. I was turned onto the game by friends Victor and Justin from elementary and middle school. We got pretty into it. I met good friend Teresa, whom will not be described in this version of my autobiography. I think back now and realize how bad I was at that game.
A year later, when I was 13, I walked into SuperConnected (I believe that was the name). It’s a place where you can pay $4 an hour to use a very fast computer loaded with all the goodies any tech junkie would ever need. I liked to go there to watch other people play cool looking games. One game that caught my eye was Ragnarok Online. So, I went home, looked it up, and was amazed. It was worth every penny of the $14 a month you had to pay to play it.

TREM ISN'T THERE. FIX IT.
But seriously, I'd hope there's more to your life than games. D= _________________
