CHAPTUH FAIYV

They got to the cargo trains. As they entered, they saw the remains of a human. Remains of creep also were scattered across the walls and floor.

"Is... that Enye...?" stammered Arch
"No, it can't be." Bob walked over to the body and examined it. "It's rotten,"
"Can't be her then, can it?"
"Well, hopefully not. Creep can do strange things to human bodies..."

They turned right inside the train, and walked through the door to a metal plank. A muffled, distant scream caught their attention.

"What's that?!" snapped Bob
"I think it came from that room on the other side of the station," Arch replied, as he pointed to a door set into the wall on the other side of the platform.

Bob walked down the plank, onto some hastily built sheets of metal, and jumped onto the platform, with Arch closely following him.

They walked up to the door. Each person stood on either side of the door, and Bob opened it. The screaming got louder.

"The humans have found us!" snapped the granger.
"Yes, indeed they have," replied the Overmind patiently.
"What should we do?"
"Defence. Build hives,"
"On it,"

The granger padded up the sand dune, wallwalked over to the vent and started building hives behind it.

There was nothing there. They walked into the room. Surveying the area, they found a vent to the side. Padding sounds, squelshing bubbly sounds filled the room; the vent acting as a speaker.

Bob crouched and peered into the vent. It was around 4 metres long, and then turned left. He signalled to Arch, and went in. Arch followed behind him, keeping an eye on the room they had just left.

Bob got to the corner. He gripped the shotgun tightly from what he saw. The entrance was in front of him, and beyond that, was a room filled with creep. Even the pipes had creep on them. The veins were bloated, and noises of fluid slushing in them made Bob shiver. He had never seen such extreme alien infestations.

He stepped forward to get a better view. He heard a buzzing sound behind him. He looked behind the vent, and he saw hives. Arch was waiting at the corner. Bob's frantic crouched run made him feel scared.

"MOVE!" yelled Bob.

Arch shuffled backwards and out of the vent, followed closely by Bob.

"God! There are hives in there!"
"What? That ain't good,"
"It sure has hell isn't!"

They ran back to their base.

"The humans have retreated, dear Overmind" stated the granger.
"I heard. Excellent. We will begin testing the creature," replied the Overmind.
"Which prisoner will you want first?"
"The male civilian"
"I suggest the new female," suggested the granger.
"She will be used, do not worry,"
"As you wish" The granger left

The creature was standing in a donut shaped room. It barely fit in the low cieling, it's black scales scraping the walls as it walked. A basilisk entered the room, grasping a human. The human stared at it, and started breathing fast.

The basilisk deposited the human, terrified itself, and left in a hurry. Dragoons were guarding the door, making sure the human didn't run.

The creature eyed the human. It raised a sharp foot, brought it forward, and pressed it on the floor, inching the creature nearer to the human. It raised a claw, and let it drop on the human. It sliced cleanly through the humans skull, ripping the spinal cord in two, and hit the floor with a thud.

They both bought light armour, helmets, and grenades from the armory. Arch bought a chaingun, and somehow managed to fit a painsaw on his back. Bob bought a battery pack and a lucifer cannon.

"Ready for it?"
"Yeah, although this chaingun is a bit big"
"Crouch and fire, just don't forget that."
"Right,"

As they got to the platform, they met Otso.

"Otso!" shouted Arch
"Otso, where've you been?" asked Bob
"Hey Arch, i've scouted out the area. I guess you've seen the alien infestation right?"
"Yeah, they have hives behind a vent though, i don't know how you'll be able to get through."
"I'll show you another way, just let me heal up and rekit,"

They walked back to their base, following Otso, and then returned to the platform. They saw a staircase leading down to a passageway underneath the platform. Otso walked cautiously down, followed by Arch and Bob.

Then they saw it. The blue Overmind was sitting on a sand pit, probably resulting from an explosion that blew up the rock lining the passageway. The path behind the Overmind was blocked by boulders.

"See those barricades to the right? That's where the humans are kept. I don't know why they're keeping the humans," whispered Otso
"Dear God..." muttered Bob
"Is Enye there?" asked Arch
"Yes, but I think i heard you shout "move" or something, and a basilisk came and took a civilian,"

Bob motioned his hand up, signalling for silence. The basilisk had come back, empty. It was approaching the barricades. It entered one of the barricade cells, and took out a female human.

"That's Enye!" snapped Arch
"No!" hissed Bob
"We're gonna get it!" Otso got up, and ran in.

Wows! 3 excellent ratings in a row! There must be some equinox going on somewhere. Fourth/fifth/whatever chaptuh will be coming soon to theatres near you!

Likely to be after 6th June though.

CHAPTUH SIKS

Otso ran at the basilisk, sprinting, not caring what happened to him. The basilisk turned around, with Enye in it's grip. Her eyes were withdrawn, probably knowing the fate that lay ahead. Arch and Bob were quick to follow behind.

A swarm of dretch appeared behind them, and as quickly got irradiated by Bob's lucifer cannon. The basilisk turned and ran up the ramp, towards the main platform. The humans kept running at it, not wanting to harm it for it had Enye as protection.

A granger stood at the top of the ramp, and spat at the humans. They got clung down by the mass of creep, making it hard for them to run. The basilisk got further and further away from them.

"Kill the granger!" yelled someone.

Two seconds later the granger was a heap of green flesh, green blood oozing out of it's abdomen, making the floor slippery.

"Get those humans, quickly!" commanded the Overmind, "Don't let them get to the creature!"

The creature had heard the Overmind's warning. It sloshed through the blood-filled donut room slowly, towards the door leading down to the platform.

The basilisk, now unhindered, ran up the staircase, to the room.

Arch was the first to get out of the creep. He ran up, tracing the basilisk's movement. He looked down the station's platform. The only entrance in his view was a staircase, set into the wall of the platform. He sprinted for it.

"Where's Arch?" said Otso as he dragged Bob out of the creep.
"He sprinted out, to the other end of the platform, somewhere," replied Bob.
"There's a staircase there. Maybe thats where he went. And that's where Enye must be!"

They ran off, catching a glimpse of Arch before he turned the corner into the staircase. Arch ran up the stairs, hearing the padding of the basilisk's feet against the floor one level up. Another flight of stairs went by, and he had gotten to a platform, with a narrow staircase leading up to a door. The basilisk stood at the door, unmoving.

The door opened.
