And all you Windows bashers - I agree that Linux is far better (mac too), but that doesn't stop me from having a Windows laptop as well as a Linux desktop. It comes in handy sometimes, and it's not too terrible.

I disagree. Windows, as a company, sucks. No question about it. Windows XP is a pretty neat product of Microsoft which is quite stable and doesn't restrict the user. If XP is completely free it's on par with the linux distro's. Then it's just a matter of which OS you prefer. At the moment though XP costs 200 bucks which is quite a lot for a OS which is already outdated and won't be upgraded anymore (No DirectX 10).
Then they started with Windows Vista.
*sigh*
If I where Microsoft I would drop Vista and work on XP since that's a great product in comparison to all the crap they release today. I started using Linux not because I was fed up with XP, but because they wouldn't upgrade XP anymore and we, the users, have to upgrade to Windows Vista to get all the latest stuff to work. Did that for 2 months then went, while crying my heart out, to Linux. Now it's paradise on earth <3

Windows is not a company. Also XP is all good for me... Vista was just huge mistake they had in a gay bar. Linux is good but I rather have my games and programs work like they were intended to. And some of those programs require Mac or Windows (Adobe programs for example). Sure there are emulators and open source programs that are similar but... meh.

But seriously, XP Is a good OS and I never paid a Cent for it, personally, yet have a licensed version =P
Seriously, collect old keys and use em to install, apparently Microsoft wipes the Database of used keys every few months XD |

I purely agree with Otso there. Windows 7 is meant to be what Vista was MEANT to be apparently XD. However, I'm still using my *coughs* modded XP. Plus there are less hassles to play games. XP I'm open to other OS's though.
Also Archy, did you ever get to play the fate/stay night game and see Shirou O.H.K.O. berserker?

If it's free then I might give it a try. If you need to buy another license for that, even though you have Vista already installed, then Microsoft can suck my balls.

Nah never played it although I want too! =o
About the Vista topic. Like I said before I totally agree that Windows 7 should be what Vista was meant to be. But knowing Microsoft they're probably going to charge major money for it since they aren't man enough to acknowledge their epic failure with Vista.
