As you may, but most probably will not know, I have made a parody on Romeo & Juliet in flash, for school.
In dutch.

There's the catch.

I want you guys to help, making an english version!

VOICEACTING ROLES:
-Julian (I can do this one, but if anyone dares improve my voiceacting the role is theirs.)
-The Butler (Male. Maybe a french accent? Few lines, should be easy enough to do. If you're confident about your french accent, that is.)
-Romy (Preferably female. But I guess if someone could do a humorous high-pitched voice or even a monty-python style woman, that'd work too. This might be too distracting, though, and a true female's voice would probably be chosen quicker.)

Other, optional voiceacting roles:
Guard1, Guard2: A couple of guards Julian may or may not meet while running around in the castle. Preferably two different voices.

SCENE SETUP AND PLOT CRITICISM:
Anyone interested could help me and criticise me in my work of the scenes, setups, decors and scripts. Mostly I'll probably do things my own way anyway, but it'll work best when there's a few different minds on the job too, to get the maximum humour and epicness out of it all.

<EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATES WILL BE GIVEN CREDIT IN THE CREDITS ACCORDINGLY!>

Here's a Rapidshare link to download a .swf of one of the no-speech scenes of Romy & Julian. If you can't open it in flash player, you should be able to open it via a browser.

Notify me if the link ever needs to be renewed.

EDIT:
Long Live Romeo.
He pointed out to me that I quite simply forgot to actually post the link in question :3

Hence, the new link:

Seeing as I'm male and can't do a french accent, I guess I could help by doing a guard? =3

Maybe make it a hebrew accent then, or something? xD
I'm still busy fixing up the english script. When it's done, I shall post it here. =)

<Scene 1: Balcony scene>
Setup:
Romy on her bedroom balcony, Julian underneath, looking in the wrong direction.

Text:
Julian: [in style of classic theatre]"Romy, Romy, Wherefor art thou?"

*pause*

Romy:[near street-talk reaction] "Yo! I'm up here!"
[sweet and loving talk] "Climb up here via the drainpipe!"

Julian: [normal talk] "But those haven't been invented yet! Let down your long fair hair, that I may climb up through that!"

Romy: "But I've just had a haircut!"

*pause*

Romy: "I have an idea. Disguise yourself as a merchant, and try to find my room. You'll recognise it by the [enter something recognisable here. It will be cut off, but for it to sound natural you have to speak the whole sentence.]

Julian cuts her off in his excitedment: "I'm on my way!" [or something to that effect, ad he runs off-screen]

<Scene 2: Finding the disguise, making the plan>
=COMPLETE=

<Scene 3: Infiltration>
Setup: a back door in the castle. Julian goes to ring the doorbell (lol). Butler stand behind the door.

Julian [walks up to the door] "Okay, here goes" [Or something to that effect]
[rings doorbell, spams it, until Butler opens it]

Julian: "Goodevening! Could I possibly interest you in this superb wine?" [might get cut off a little due to Butler's response]

Butler: [French (or other) accent] "We don't do doorstep sales" [or something to that effect]
[Butler makes to close the door, but Julian puts his foot in the way]

Julian: [makes a sad attempt at french accent (or other accent. change accordingly to Butler's accent)] "Er... But sir, thees ees reeal freanch (change accordingly) whain!"

Butler reopens door, camera view changes.
Butler: [excited] "You mean it's real french (change accordingly) wine?"

Camera goes to Julian, who says: "Do you take me for a liar?"

Butler, after a small pause: "Er, do you want me to be honest?" [or something to that effect]
[flash of shadow streak past him as he speaks]

Julian, from behind him, running into the castle: "That's all right!" [or something to that effect]

<Scene 4 [optional]: Searching for her room>
Setup: Basically Julian runs through the castle, avoiding and failing to avoid guards.

Lines for the guards could be some shouts, reactions as they first see him, reactions when they see him again, etc.

Possible optional scene beforehand with a small conversation between two guards?
Contact your guard counterpart and arrange accordingly.

Optional to have the butler running after Julian as well.

<Scene 5: Romy's untrue death>
Setup: Romy is on her balcony, looking at the stars. Sees a shooting star, mumbles/says something to the effect of "[sigh], If only we could be together". This is the only line needed for this scene. Otherwise, it is complete.
[Romy gets hit on the head by a meteorite, and is thus unconscious. Ruddy shooting stars.]

<Scene 6: Arrival, death>
[optional extra little snap of Julian losing the guards]
Julian arrives at Romy's room. Sees her 'dead', is overcome with grief [though no speech is necessary] and jumps off the balcony to kill himself.

<Scene 7: Romy's not-untrue death>
Romy wakes up, sees dead Julian, is in shock, takes a few steps backwards, and her foot hits the bottle of 'wine' Julian had brought. Music stops with a classic scratch noise.
Romy: [pleasantly surprised] "Oh! Wine! I was just getting thirtsy!"

<Remaining details will be shown once the project is finished... muahahah>

Just so you get an idea of an Israeli accent, it would sound like:

"Vee dunt do doorstep sels"

"You meen eets reel ah-ra-beek (random) vah-een?"

But also the Rs are different, which is hard to convey with text.
