I first time played halo 1 online today... I never knew it sucked so bad. That game is missing the thin boundry between life and death and is replaced with 10 min bullet fest against one oppoment before the winner is decided. The shield idea works in single player but when you both have massive regenerating sheild and good combat experience 1 on 1 battles can last way too long. I managed to get melee combat range and hit the player about ten times with my gun but it ended by geting drive by killed and blood stuck on tiers.

About flamer. For sake of my gasoline tank the flamer is most effective weapon ever but that makes me ask have they not invented proper heat shielding armors? They have plasma rifles and energy shields and they can't protect against flamer?

Why did ye even try to play halo 1? Oo Halo 2 is already out for pc =o Not that it's a good game but meh it's better then the old halo 1 ^__^ Trem ftw 8D

I actually still have Halo 1 installed in my old comp. Well, it's not old, its just that i used it before my lappy. It's sweet.

I went on Halo once recently, and it was fun. The chat was screwed up though... might be that pop-up folder bar thing i made.

I believe Halo 1 PC was the best halo title in the whole series. Way better than Halo 2, and i BOUGHT halo 2... Waste of £30...

I did too. I like that vehicles can be destroyed, but I like the Halo1 Fuel Rod Cannon more than the second.

I also don't like the fact that ghost speed was nerfed in Halo2.

On the island multiplayer map, i took on i think it was two banshees, a scorpion tank, and a ghost at the same time. And i lived. But i think i got killed by the fourth banshee... It rocked. I was uber with ghosts. <3
