Hey all!
For once I have something important to talk about.

First problem is activity (now you are thinking "Oh. Not this sh** again.")
I have thought that it would be quite good way to see if you are really wanting to be in clan. Lets have "Attendance Demanded" game. Basically once in a month (on set date and time) every member has to attend the game on server or they will be kicked out. This is clearly best way to see if you are interested being in the clan. This may sound radical to some but I don't like anything half hearted. My idea is to have it on last Saturday of the month (next one would be June 28th).

Next problem is our dear clan leader named glunnator. I don't like having super inactive leader. If you want to lead a clan you need to have time for it. There for no matter how busy you are, you still should be at least 2nd most active member in clan if not first. Either be more active or resign and give the leadership to person who you would think do good job.

Talked about the latter already with Eternal. Think the best way to deal with these problems is to get everyone to IRC and discuss it there since it's something serious and through the forums you can't really react well to each other. By everyone I mean every member of the clan, no exceptions. I totally agree with you on all points and June 28 seems like a nice date to me. Let's see what the rest thinks about these problems.

Irc is teh best idea.

Game sounds fine as long as it's not an issue religiously for meh (and eternal and coren {if he still has any will to be in the clan})

/agree with whiteh.

I really wish I had started this thread and not whitey. >_< Glun, we love you and respect you, Seriously, Don't take this thread the wrong way. We just need to talk. IRC is good.

As for activity - I just dropped one of my courses because I felt my workload was too heavy (well, that was one reason), so I think I can play trem a little now. Cool Phear it.

I'm on with Alex every now and then. Nam too. But I didn't figure anyone went to the clan practices so I stopped going. I do play about once a week...

BTW: There are WAY too many active threads to wrap my head around >_<

Actually, I getting more and more active lately anyways.
Haven't seen any of YOU guys around.
But if you want me gone, just say the word, k?

I like the idea of the attendance demanded thingy. good date, too. just in the beginning of the holidays when we're all back and out and free and all, and when activity has already been predicted to return.

IRC? show me a good mac IRC client, and I'm in. up to that time I'll skim the site's java channel for a bit.

Haven't been around. But I'm not the one complaining about your inactiveness.

I don't think we'd go to that extreme, as that would be both bad and stupid. You're a strong leader, and certainly not a bad one. You've gotten cebt through it's hardest times, and that hasn't been forgotten.
I think what we want is a staff, or a group of leaders, instead of a leader. It'd be rare to have the whole group be inactive, and it would spare you from the hatred you get as leader. >_< Decisions could be put up to a vote.

I thank you very much for your understanding and wisdom. And yes, I agree.

You know I actually wanted you, eternal, to be the next leader if I would for whatever reason leave? =3

I vote eternal into top staff!

Unfortunately, I think I'm the most inactive as far as tremming, so that's probably not a good idea. =/ Methinks Glun, Arch and Whitey would make a good council. I'd add Lewi, but an odd number is good, 'cause then votes never end in a draw. ^__^

Well dunno if Eternal wants to be a staff member =( But in terms of maturity, respect and anger-management you can't find anyone better then Eternal =)

Somehow I doubt that....anyway, I just don't know that I'd make a good leader in any way. o_0 I'd rather stay a normal member and try to keep the peace. ^^
