Have you guys (and ladies) seen those detective tv shows such as "murder she wrote" or anime Detective connan (I haven't seen it but read manga though). Well some how they always end up place where a murder or some other crime happens. I mean it would be easy to understand that someone hires them on some case if they would be offical detective but these guys always be in right place at wrong time.
My theory:
All supper dubber uber briliant detective minds emit aura that temps people with slithest intention to kill or commit a crime to do it most sertainly. Kinda like mind controll or some shit.

It is, i swear... I checked it out, it's simple, they geti it all form a corn on the cob named splurch, see splurch tells them things through a series of crackling nioses the tubes inside him... oops wasn't... my bad >.>
